DHC Consulting Ltd was commissioned by Elaman Property to prepare a comprehensive Stormwater Management Assessment for a twelve-lot residential development located at 32–34 Seymour Road, Sunnyvale. The project includes modern residential dwellings alongside a jointly owned access lot (JOAL) with parking facilities. Designed to blend functionality with environmental sustainability, this development is set to enhance the residential appeal of Sunnyvale while prioritising responsible urban planning practices.
Given the absence of a confirmed public stormwater connection, on-site stormwater mitigation was designed to manage runoff and limit post-development flows to greenfield conditions. This eco-conscious solution ensures minimal impact on the downstream public network. Additionally, the proposed public stormwater infrastructure supports controlled discharge from the site, meeting council requirements while promoting sustainable urban planning practices that enhance the community's environmental resilience.
