Among the primary engineering considerations were the steep and restricted site, numerous architectural features, and the proximity to the water’s edge. To achieve the vision of the client and architect, our team approached each feature methodically during the design stage. Due to the site’s limitations, the pool needed to be engineered above ground, requiring detailed structural design, with careful attention given to the foundation design. During construction, DHC provided clear and practical instructions to the contractor, Upperton Construction, leading to a seamless build.
